Great branch hammer

So all in all if you are looking for a well balanced lightweight nail puller and branch hammer hammer this is it. As a professional carpenter/repairer/contractor I wouldn't want to be without some tools. Estwing hammers are of the highest quality and this particular claw hammer will not let you down. No hammer when nailing decking or frames. It's not hard enough. This is the one used for finishing nails and other finer carpentry work. This is a 5 star tool in your chest.

16 ounces. Hammer is now 1 inch shorter?

I bought one of these Estwing E3 hammers over 40 years ago and it has hammered a lot of nails and other stuff. Eventually the claws failed and the nails that were pulled out got stuck in them, requiring a lot of extra effort to get the nail out of the claws. So I ordered a replacement for the next 40 years. What do you know? In Easting's infinite wisdom, the new hammer is an inch shorter than my old one. My dead eye is now offset by an inch and I hope it doesn't take me years to get used to the

Exceptional hammer from American production.

Eastwing probably builds the best hammers in the world right here in Rockford, Illinois. That's right, Rockford gave us both Cheap Trick and Eastwing Hammers. I am an elderly person and have done many home renovations and projects in my life. Tools are an investment, and spending a little more to buy a good tool is both financially wise and to avoid the headaches that cheap tools can cause. Nothing is more frustrating than a tool that breaks while you're working. Eastwing Hammers are great and…

Grandpa's hammer is the best claw hammer

This is a great hammer that will last for decades with proper care and maintenance. I grew up in a family of builders and builders and my grandfather used this hammer for 20+ years. I wish I still had the original. The two hammer companies that have always been the most used and reliable have been Vaughan and Estwing because they do their job well and last a long time. Lately I've been organizing my tools and upgrading some of them so I realized I don't have a good medium sized hammer, I used a

Superman is the only guy who could bend it with his bare hands.

A person can use many tools, but it takes years to develop a special bond with a hammer. You tend to memorize everything you've built with it and associate those things with that particular hammer. For most of my life I have had a Belknap Blue Grass Hammer with an octagonal walnut handle. I was so pleased I bought the same hammer just in case. I thought I was assigned to Hammer Division for life! And then one horrible day BOTH my hammers were stolen. Now I ask you: which thief stole BOTH your…
