Estwing is always my go-to

I've been using Estwing for many, many years so it wasn't difficult to buy another Estwing for home renovations. The grip is excellent and has a large head area. I decided on a 16 ounce straight break handle to supplement the need for a handle in potential rebuild situations, realizing I would probably be looking at trimming projects rather than rough frames and would need a 24 ounce knurled hammer .

Tool that holds best Hammers

I bought this hammer after a year of use after a couple of wooden handled hammers came loose. I had an old Estwing hammer that went through hell and back so thought I'd try a 16oz hammer. I wasn't sure if the quality would be the same but it was just as good if not better, this demolition hammer can create, cut, demonstrate whatever you need. Excellent hammer made in USA

While not a professional carpenter I have been using hammers for 40 years on various projects such as room extensions and decks, forts, skate ramps etc. I'm pretty sure I recently decided to install about 1,000 square feet of new flooring and baseboards and new window and door frames and figured now would be a good time to get a new hammer since my kids and/or wife always use some of them.
