I bought the scale because it had such good reviews but found the complete opposite. It's tall, slim, and yes, it looks good, but it doesn't exactly weigh you. We live in Japan so I paid a total of $30 for the scale plus about $45 shipping here. I can't get a refund because I won't pay another $45 to ship it back to the company so I wasted only about $75. If you want a scale that looks good then this is the one for you but I wouldn't trust the numbers to be accurate.

When I first got this scale and stepped on it a few times I got a completely "different" weight and thought I bought a lemon. However. After moving the scale to a different spot in the room, after a few tries I got my correct weight (which stayed the same) and the problem was solved! Weighed several times and same weight as me every time. I would call it a success. The only thing that could be improved on this scale is that it's not completely encased in metal. The top plate is steel, but the glass is visible on all edges, so the scale isn't completely covered by stainless steel. If you're not careful, you can still end up with broken glass scales.
