What you need worked

Works. I was able to verify that the RFID blocking case that was sent to me actually works. This scanner could read the card without a sleeve, but not when it was in the sleeve. The only thing I don't like is that it clearly "pronounces" the read values and it's not clear how to turn it off, if at all possible. It's also not immediately obvious how to use the computer with it to activate the rest of the features.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • There are doubts

Easy and convenient to use

I love that this product comes with instructions and software in flash memory and can be accessed by connecting a USB cable to the device. If you attempt to decrypt the card, you must run the software on your computer and accept the disclaimer before accepting the disclaimer on the device. I was able to read and decode key fob 13.56 and write once to a new blank key fob; However, when I reread the original keychain and said it was already decoded, it kept giving me a typo on other blankโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Only available in black

It has a nice slick color screen, an annoyingly loud speaker and over-the-top voice output. I was able to read multiple HID Proximity, HID iClass Px, and IEI cards. However, the decoding function seems to be for MIFARE cards. I couldn't read the Indala T2 key fob with it. The documentation covers the basic read/write functions, but nothing more. There seems to be an undocumented manual input mode, but it doesn't work for HID 125kHz mode. If you are dealing with 125kHz cards then you have noโ€ฆ

Good for some things

Good for copying cards - very easy You can't read or write from the PC, they don't have software for it, meaning you can't HID codes and site Find out codes, although you can read and copy cards, a really annoying loud voice that can't be turned off, you can open it and cut the wire to the speaker, but be careful, there are very thin wires inside, cut the wrong one ab - simple, also think it's a bug related to HID cards, but with blank cards, send them will be overwritten however if you writeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Note: 1. Works with unencrypted cards. This does NOT work with fully encrypted cards! Thanks to its decoding software, it can work with some semi-encrypted cards, but not all. Tags with different frequencies are not compatible.

Went like clockwork!

I first bought a cheap blue 125kHz unit for $20 online but it didn't work. My daughter is a student in an apartment on campus with an elevator and key fobs to control access to the apartment. They only give out 3 key fobs per apartment and lost key fobs are $100. So I rolled the dice again and bought this device for 70โ‚ฌ. encryption. It took about 5 minutes to hack, after which I was able to record on a new keychain! Had to use keychain 13.56 because 125 keychain or cards didn't work. I have not
