It doesn't work at all and it's not plug and play, it requires a driver where all standard USB ports work for ethernet plug and play so please don't waste your money.

Who even makes this thing? More than two days looking for the driver"Windows 98". Not on the supplied minidisk, nowhere on the internet!. I got this specifically for an old Windows 98 machine and nothing I'm doing is going to get this thing to work. waste of time and money. Why can't devices work anymore? When connected to a USB port, the driver was not automatically installed. Manual installation using the included driver mini-disc was successful on Windows 10. When running in 100 Mbit/s mode, the actual measured throughput is only 6 Mbit/s. It seems to work, but very slowly. I don't think you should expect great performance for such a low price.

I haven't gone above 7 Mbps (or 56 Mbps) on a gigabit network. Should receive 12 Mbps. Suitable for testing or air gap situations.
