We bought this for a new TV to improve the picture quality of streaming services. Our modem is in another room and we needed a long cable that we could run along the wall and through a door. The product came quickly and matched the description. The flat cable is nicely routed along the wall and well hidden. For the door, the cable was thin and flat enough to run between the carpet and the sill to the hardwood floor in the next room.

I have used these to connect a streaming PC, DirecTV DVR and TV itself to a router via a small Gb switch. No problem. The cable itself is flat, can be 1/8" thick and 1/4" wide. If you were to put it under a rug or something you'd probably still notice it, but they're white and blend in with the wall really well. The Terminators are some of the best I've ever dealt with. They are hook-free and the little "tail" doesn't look like it could break easily.

I bought two of these cables primarily because of the cable's low profile. I had to route the connection from my cable box through a sub panel that had no cable holes which meant the whole panel was open all the time because it wouldn't close with the normal cable sticking out. I also wanted to run the cable from the modem to my computer through the corners of the house so I could have a wired connection without the ethernet cable just lying on the floor like it used to be.
