Excellent Cat8 Wire to Ethernet Cable

Excellent and super long cable! I upgraded my small cable and noticed a difference so thought I might as well replace the larger underground cable and I was not disappointed with a quality cable with quality results!

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Easily Torn

Fraud! Not cat8, not as advertised. See photos.

The description says aluminum shield weave, I found there is no shield webbing at all. The description states that the single core copper conductor is copper non-single core. The wire gauge is smaller than my Cat6 cables. I was cheated on.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Socket required

Ps4 goes brrr in cables and connections

PS4 kind of sits next to the router and still gets around 40-50 Mbps (good speeds but better potential) when I plug in the ethernet cable it goes up to around 500Mbps . In games like Apex Legends the whole game took 4-5 hours, now turn on the game download in just 20 minutes.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Better sound and picture

I switched from a CAT 6 cable to this cable to connect the TV to the router. There is a noticeable difference in audio quality when streaming video. The video has improved a bit. This is a comparison of CAT 6 with this one. The cable is a bit stiff, which is understandable with all the insulation around the wires. The cord is round. Good value for money!

  • New
Cons

Sturdy, fast cable suitable for computer accessories and peripherals

Have ATT Internet 1000 on Wi-Fi on a firestick in bedroom. There have been crashes due to the Arris BGW210 ATC modem they give you (terrible, unreliable)! I bought this 12ft CAT8 cable and hooked it up to a Revain network adapter which I also had to buy (thanks to Revain for not preparing an ethernet port for the firestick yet) and now I'm enjoying music and movie streaming. I have to invoice ATT for these costs. Good cable, as others have said, very durable!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Great cable! for computers and accessories

I have an area with a lot of known 60Hz interference and there is no sensible way around it. Shielded cable seems to be the solution. This one works great! But the fun doesn't end here. It's not one of those crappy cables that you pray for doesn't fall apart once you're gone. This thing is built to last. It's flexible and durable. You drank too much at the last Christmas party and like Tarzan, you yanked all the connecting cords dangling around the warehouse? Got what you want, this cable will…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

You can also buy Cat 5 or 6 cables

I have never bought anything above Cat 6 as I recently bought Cat 8 cables from two different manufacturers. I decided to check it out. When the initial test confirmed my intuition, I decided to try a more rigorous test. For the record, I'm paying for 1GB of internet speed, so I expected it to be capped. I compared my WiFi speed as well as Cat 5e, Cat 6 and two different brands of Cat 8. For the test, I plugged each cable into the same port on the router provided by my ISP. I tested each cable…

KICKASS HIGH QUALITY CAT8 DIRECT WIRING AT A CRAZY LOW PRICE!

That's cool! As far as I can tell. I only wish I had an electrical quality control test lab like I had at the calibration lab I worked for in the Air Force. I don't see any issues and everything seems to be of better quality and design than anything you could buy, install or provide locally. Much, much better than what was installed in my house (not counting the heavy-duty cable that was buried underground). For anything above ground, indoors and out, this is the gold standard for installing…

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Disappear

I bought two of these "Cat 8" cables for router to modem and router to computer Ethernet cables. The original cable between my modem and the router was a Cat 5e cable provided by the router manufacturer. The cable between my router and my computer is a Best Buy Cat 6 cable. Before installing these two cables, I had no problems streaming, playing video games, and other devices connected to the same network. After installing these two cables I had nothing but problems with these cables. They…

Pros
  • Ethernet cable
