    Ready for immediate use

Ready for immediate use. The Ethernet and USB ports are working properly. I didn't use the included stands as the 40 pin connector and micro USB to micro USB adapter keep everything secure on the Pi. Enough room for a small heatsink on the Pi. The indicator lights are a nice bonus. There are two downsides: 1) The Pi runs 1-2 seconds warmer. 2) The Pi will likely draw more current. I have not checked how much more. None of these shortcomings are a problem for me.

    Excellent Computer components

Simply excellent. Connected via micro USB connector and it worked. Plugged into ethernet, wireless keyboard/trackpad combo and USB flash drive and it just works. I wish all hats were that simple. FIX: RJ45 connector snapped I was trying to place the Pi in an enclosed space and the ethernet cable snapped the RJ45 connector off the board. It really wasn't that powerful, so I'm very disappointed. I tried soldering it back in but couldn't hold it tight enough that it wouldn't move and come loose…

The most useful hat for your Raspberry Pi Zero!

You'll need to buy one of these with your Raspberry Pi Zero as it simply plugs into the board's existing micro USB connector, no setup required! Now you can plug in a mouse, keyboard, and SD card reader and connect them directly with an Ethernet cable so they automatically connect to the network at boot, without the need to set up Wi-Fi. Without this hat, you'll need a set of adapters or a separate external dongle.

    • There are other interesting options.

I was able to install this on my Pi Zero W with no problems. It allowed me to clear my Frankenstein collection from a USB hub + wired USB network adapter. The GPIO header is optional, but I've kept it for support reasons. I didn't even solder it. I hope I don't regret this decision later. I used this "case" to assemble everything: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NBKFPEJ The way the USB adapter opens makes me a little nervous and I can stick some tape on the back of it for your sanity.
