My husband makes fun of these hats I bought and calls them "miner hats". I will tell you that they are super warm and very bright. We have to walk our dogs a few times after dark and I'm tired of holding a flashlight and leash while trying to pick up dog poo. Waa-laa, I found these hats. They plug straight into the charging port in my kitchen and are very bright. I love them and love things that make my life easier!

Figuring out how to charge this device seems easy, but I'd like a quick guide that tells you how to charge, how long it takes to charge fully, how to know when charging is complete to anticipate the need to charge (the indicator on the device?) and approximately how long it will take to charge at different power levels. I don't have to search the internet to find these things. They must be provided by the manufacturer.

I bought this hat because with the onset of winter it gets dark much earlier. I have two dogs and take them for a walk every night. This hat lights the way and keeps me from tripping over obstacles in my path. Haven't had to charge it yet, but for the money I recommend this cap if you need to do something outside after dark (take out trash, get mail, walk the dogs). I live in a more rural area and we don't have streetlights so the hat came in really handy.

Although I like this hat, I did not use it for its intended purpose, hunting, just tried it around the house, I liked it. Orange is the typical bright orange color of a typical hunting cap or vest. This is a good weight and quality hat, not a cheap thin easy to stretch hat. Even if the light stops working, I still have a good quality cap.
