Description of European Adapter TROND American Type

【European travel plug adapter】Providing conversion from European to US plug, this Type C European adapter is compatible in most EU countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc. See more countries in product description. CANNOT work in UK / Ireland. 【5-in-1 adapter for EU outlets】This European plug adapter takes up one EU outlet and turns it into 3 sided US-style outlets, allowing 3 bulky adapters to plug in at once. Equipped with 2 USB slots, this European USB adapter easily accommodate your cell phone, USB travel fan, and other peripherals. 【Smaller than your passport】Measured in 2.40” x 1.97” x 1.97”, this US to European travel plug adapter is not clunky as those humongous power strips while offering the same amount of charging ports. Two integrated USB ports allow you to pack the USB cords only and leave your phone charger at home. 【ETL Listed】This plug adapter is made of high-quality acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, and has undergone multiple tests such as ETL, FCC, CE & ROHS before being sold. Has NO surge protection & NO cord, making it a European River-Cruise-Approved power adapter. No trouble getting it through customs or safety check. 【Important notes】1) It's NOT a voltage converter, and cannot step up or down the voltage. 2) Your electric appliances, such as hair dryer, straightener or electric razor, need to support Dual Voltage (110V & 220V) or Multi-Voltage (100V~240V) for using in EU countries; otherwise, you will need a voltage converter. 3) the total power consumption should not exceed the rated power of 4000W/250V.

Good work! - Adapter

This product has been a lifesaver, especially on our cruise ship where you have very few outlets. The only problem I had was with the hair dryer. Maybe mine had too high a voltage for that block. But it charged my phone, laptop, and desk with no issues. I also plugged in my curling iron and straightener, although not all of these products were plugged in at the same time. We were also in Spain for a few days, where we absolutely needed this converter for our hotel room.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Not sure

An excellent adapter for modern two-volt electronics!

Bought for a trip to Amsterdam and it worked perfectly. I was able to charge my phone and iPad via USB ports, leaving enough outlets for my Fitbit, electric shaver, and even my wife's CPAP machine. Remember this is an adapter only, not a voltage converter. But if you check your products, you will probably find that they work on both 110 and 220 volts. If so, this is the only fork you need!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Modern

Useful travel adapter

I was on a recent trip to Europe and used this adapter to charge my phone. I also charged the Bluetooth headphones. My fellow travelers also had to use my adapter so it came in very handy except I only had one! It works fine, I have no problems with it. It is very durable and has a good weight. I wasn't afraid to break or damage it and travel. I had no problems with customs clearance. I recommend this adapter for traveling in Europe.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

small power. 35W isn't even enough for a 12 " laptop

35W isn't even enough for a 12" laptop! much less for more. I have tried various small laptops up to 12 inches and each time I get the same warning that the power is not 45W but 35W! this made the adapter unusable on my trip abroad! The USB ports can charge 2 phones or a phone and a small tablet very slowly. This plug is oversized and weighs more compared to other similar plugs. He kept coming off the wall.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • There are problems

Works great in Italy

Went to Italy this month and bought it for a trip. It worked great. I really liked being able to plug multiple things into one outlet, yet it was compact for packing and carrying in a bag. I also liked that if I needed to use the only outlet available at the airport, I could ask someone who already uses it to share it with me and connect through my device. One piece of advice is I forgot to bring something for the London layover as they use a different type of plug, but someone at the airport…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No automatic

Great all in one

I used it on a recent trip to Austria and Germany. The plugin was great because it has both USB and standard US options. In addition, the plug does not require an additional socket. Many plugs in Germany and Austria are sunk; The teeth on it are long enough to penetrate the recessed hole. My mum brought the plug with no extension cord and couldn't use hers so we both used mine which again made the extra plug options via USB very useful. If you're traveling with a mobile phone, that's really all

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Doesn't fit everyone

GREAT gear every traveler from US to Europe should have

I have traveled to Europe many times and lived there twice for several years. This device was one of the most handy things I've ever had to plug into European outlets and it's very compact too. (Just remember this is not a transformer, just a great adapter to plug in your multi-current devices.) I was able to charge my Dell laptop, run my CPAP, charge my phone, and USB port with this adapter plug. Fans (really useful in France and Germany in July! - but that's a separate review) all at once. It

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
