We love the size and strength of this versatile little pot. We keep it on fire to heat water for all sorts of things: oatmeal; soups; hot chocolate; Coffee; Wash dishes, face and hands.

Boiled water in 7 minutes on our small wood stove. Perfect size for 2 people. Fills our 2 cups for hot tea every morning. I also used it for ice tea. Fill up with cold water and 2 ice tea bags, let steep for 15 minutes. Easy to clean.

This is a very good kettle but it is very small. I was expecting it to be a full sized teapot, but it's basically a large mug with handles and a lid. It is good quality and has a strainer on the spout and I will use it but not in the way it was originally intended. It also takes some time to get it.

Love this item. I use it to boil water for coffee, boil pasta (enough for 3 people) and other things that need cooking. When I first received it, I was a little surprised by the small size, but it can withstand a lot. I'm only taking off one star because everything is metal, so the handles and lid get very hot and rattle in the car and on camping trips. This is a sturdy compact kettle. Nothing for the mass of ounce counters. When I was looking for the Kochanski 4 dog, I came across this small kit. Approximately 1183 milliliters or 40+ ounces advertised as 1.2 liters is a short, sturdy pot. The lid does not snap into place. The bit has a built in cap lifter ring that is positioned with a built in stopper in an up or down direction allowing it to stand freely in a 90 degree vertical position.
