🐶 Evanger's Heritage Classic Dog Food: A Time-Honored Recipe Since 1935! Review

Very healthy ingredients, my dog loves it, I hope it will reduce his weight a little. She is a happy, healthy 10 year old pit bull, very cheerful but a bit chubby just like her owner. we are on a diet together lol

I can tell you without a doubt the beef and bacon have been changed, they are now more like mush than before, it looks like more water has been added and it is now a sticky paste where it used to be was tighter. and thicker texture.

I recently dressed my friend's dog and this is the dog food she eats at home. Since my own dogs showed up, we ate their food pretty quickly, so I substituted them. I cannot confirm the quality of the ingredients as I have not researched them. But all the dogs loved it.

This product is a winner for my picky eater. It's chicken and rice, plain and simple, and all the jars look the same so the consistency in production is obvious. I'm so thankful I found Evanger's while in the process of making my own chicken and rice mix.

While I can't give first hand feedback I can tell you what I see when we feed this to our dog. She seems to like it very much. I can't ask her, but judging by her actions, it's great. And as for the ingredients, there are no obvious mystery items in them. Your people are happy with that. FLAVOR stars are not marked. Hopefully for obvious reasons. I'm not crazy enough to try, just to check.

I wish CAN was in a style that used a can opener instead of a can opener. It's ALWAYS DIRTY to take food out of a can. My dog doesn't use up an entire jar in one feeding, so I take it out of the jar and keep it in an appropriate container. The food is good so I guess I'll keep buying it. Oh if they changed the packaging to the above I would be happy it would save me time and cleaning. Many Thanks.

My little 11 year old boy is very picky about food. I bought a can and he ate it. I bought a box and he still eats it. I also feed him other good foods so he not only gets that bran, but eats it almost every time I put it on the table without hesitation. Of course I warm him up and give him a hidden treat (he's not spoiled!) but he eats it! And that's usually not the case. I often struggle to get him to eat, but this has worked well.

My 1.5 year old golden retriever loves Evanger canned food including this variety. Like the taste of cooked chicken (his favorite) and unlike most canned dog foods, it's bland in the jar. This aroma has a strong odor when you open the jar, and not surprisingly, dog poo gets quite smelly after drinking this aroma. The taste of cooked chicken does not have these characteristics.
