They do run hot. 100 watts is a lot of power to run though an led array though. Can't comment on the longevity yet.Haven't measured their color temp, but the visible light emission seems relatively low and in line with the price. Bigger heat sinks would be brilliant.

I was having such a hard time making cyanotypes out in the sun. I almost gave up on the process all together when I decided to try out artifical light. This lamp has made all the difference! I love that I don't have to worry about wind or the time of day or year to make my prints anymore! My next plan is to try using this lamp for UV resin curing. I will update on the results with that.

This review is for the 50 watt 365nm LED backlight purchased October of 2022.11/4/22 update: After one month of use, running about 6 hours each night, several banks of LEDs have failed. See attached picture. Lowered rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. I'm going to see if the manufacturer will make it right and send a replacement, as the 30-day Walmart return window is expired by 2 days :-(After looking through other's reviews I saw several other people report that individual LEDs were failing…
