great value, the best in hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

They're as good as anything I've used in the last 60 years. Some faucets, like the image I provided, need a 90 degree angle. Installation 100 degrees. pi/2, which is excellent. Lubrication is good, both fit and attachment, it doesn't drip on the first try but that's not uncommon for me. The second picture shows a faucet. So if you happen to buy one, put a few in your shopping cart, you'll always have a spare, they'll come in handy at the most desperate of times.

Pros
  • Pipe Fittings
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Worked but won't buy again

I bought two of these for a compressed air project as they were about a dollar cheaper than the competition. They did the job, but both had extremely rough threads and were the only fittings I had trouble sealing well with. One of these had the leading thread on the M side deformed enough to damage the mating part, and the threads on both sides were jagged. As a result, it required a lot more work, tape, and enough turns. I was seriously concerned about removing threads or breaking fittings…

Pros
  • Fittings
Cons
  • Damaged

The job is done, but the threads are cut incorrectly.

This is a simple 1/2 in. male/female NPT brass elbow. What can go wrong? It looks like there's a lot of copper in brass, which is a good thing. The male end screwed directly into the female fitting, but the male tube did not screw into the female end. Upon closer inspection, the NPT tap did not penetrate the fitting far enough for the exposed threads to accept the male fitting. I've tried various male fittings and none of them caught the threads. It was part of a muffler system for the intake…
