This is the 3rd we have bought. When we first bought a complete humidifier with a tank and hose it was great that you could easily reuse the parts that didn't break, but it would be even better if that part of the humidifier lasted longer than 2 years . When used with an on/off humidistat controller, it keeps the humidity in my snake's cage at the ideal range.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend anyone to buy this product. I had to buy 2 of these gentlemen in just 2 years, plus a spare base because. The base unit keeps breaking. When it works, it's a great addition to my chameleon's habitat, so I've replaced it several times. Tonight I just cleaned the base of dirt and it didn't work when I plugged it back in. I won't buy it again as it should last a lot longer than it does now.

I bought this one because the motor died on my last one a little less than a year later. I set it to very low last night (my gecko likes 60-80% humidity). I woke up this morning to a room full of fog! All humidity sensors were at the maximum of 99% and when I opened the case I found that everything was wet too! This product could have killed my gecko! What happened to quality assurance monitoring?!? I shouldn't have received a defective nebula base. Unacceptable!
