A great product for the second time.

Availability Does not match the product it is listed for. After receiving my container and lid, I set them up for first use only to find that the lid didn't fit the hob it was listed for. Giving one star in my review as I really didn't get to use the product. ******Update*********As soon as the seller became aware of the problem, they immediately sent me the correct cap stating that they had some missing labels in stock. New cap works, great customer service, great product.

Pros
  • Container NSF Approved - EVERIE Container EVC-12 is NSF approved for your safety when storing under vacuum. Only the container into which water is poured and heated is NSF approved. The lid is not NSF approved but is food safe.

The hard lid is inconvenient to use; Silicone lid could be better

container appears to be of good quality, generally useful and reasonably priced. My complaint is this: if you bring the tub up to cooking temperature before putting food in it, as most recipes say, you usually have to take it off (now hot and humid). Lid, as the slope of the lid hinge does not allow enough room to insert products (and racks) 130-190 degrees. Water. To remove the lid you must remove the hot sous vide heater, which requires turning it off. So after adding food to the bath, you…

Pros
  • Foldable lid - hinge is close to the machine so you have plenty of room to check, add or remove ingredients at any time. Durable hinge tested for 100,000 uses. NO CLAMPS REQUIRED - The lid fits snugly onto the container and clamps sealed bags to keep them from floating in the tub, no additional clamps required.
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Works with Ambiano (Aldi) diving plate.

All of these containers seem overpriced for what they are, but this one is definitely more affordable than others and has nifty food storage shelves. I have an Ambiano immersion cooker that I bought from Aldi and the hole in the lid is just right for it to fit. The clamp serves to secure the panel to the tank wall with a slight rearward tilt when flush with the tank wall slope. I'm a little skeptical as to how long the Flex hinge will last, but only time will tell. I prefer using this clear…

Pros
  • Hinged lid for minimal water evaporation - cook for long hours even at night without having to add water.
Cons
  • Not bad
