Glad I opened the box before giving it to my nephew for Christmas. He's 6'2 and about 200 pounds. These gloves barely fit my husband who is also 6ft 2in and 185 tall. We ended up just ordering an extra pair of XL gloves to give to him.

There were so many options to choose from that I wasn't sure I made the right choice until this set arrived. I have made! Gloves and pads fit both me and my husband. We turn it off from wearing them to exercise. Good quality which we hope will last a very long time.

This set is a good starter set. These are the things you buy on a whim when you've been sitting at home for months and don't know how to exercise. The materials are not durable, flimsy plastic that will most likely crack in a short time. If you wear blockers, you'll feel that kick. Probably cardboard insides. Not something to buy if you are serious about the sport, but a reasonably priced product to get you started and decide if you really are a boxer or not.

This is my second set after the old ones were ripped to pieces. The older ones were strong, but they protect the wrists and joints better and encourage the user to adopt the correct position for boxing. The gloves now have a center target thankfully, so I switched back and forth faster because I didn't have to refocus on the gauntlets to hit the center. The old gauntlets were useless.
