Great product for kitchen and bathroom plumbing

Great product but you need to position it correctly. The mounting block that came with the house when I bought it is labeled '1' and '2', but I couldn't figure out what it was. After about a week of slightly gray colored water I changed the canisters and it worked flawlessly.

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Contemporary

Long Life Filters

We live in San Francisco where chloramine is used as a sanitizer in our water. Regular filters don't filter out chloramine, but these do! We run tap water through filters and pour it into the kitchen sink from a special faucet. Our drinking water is filtered and ice cubes are made from filtered water. We also installed a sediment filter in front of the chloramine filters.

  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Replacement Filter OEM

Very easy to install. They are designed for 11 months but we usually only get around 4-6 as we use water to make formula for our baby. The first filter we bought we got 9 months before the baby. It filters water well, but note that the flow drops off fairly quickly after you've used it. Ordered twice, it's an OEM filter so not much to say. The price fluctuates a lot, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on price drops to get the best deal.

  • Acceptable

Good filtration - low flow - mountable

The original user left the filters in place for well over a year, maybe 2+. One of the two froze up and I had to disassemble the entire base unit to clamp and unscrew the filter. Installing the new filter was easy. If you change them annually, this may not happen. Tastes as good as a full reverse osmosis system and much better than tap or cartridge jug brands/types. The flow rate is enough to fill water glasses BUT pouring large amounts of water [> 2 cups/16 oz] to boil can take time and…

Excellent water filter option

I ordered replacement filters at the same time as purchasing a water filtration system as I've found that the price of filters goes up slightly every year which isn't much of a surprise. The filtration system connects to both hot and cold water, and we liked both the taste and the convenience of using this under-the-sink system, which connects to a different faucet than the main faucet, specifically for potable and filtered hot water. Each pair of filters is designed to last up to a year…

  • I won't say anything

Works great but lasts 3 months / 300 gallons.

Works. But it is expensive and only lasts 3 months. We have city water from NorCal. These filters make it much more drinkable. They are very easy to install. But . Sir, they last 3 months. We thought the first set might be defective but the second set is now on its last legs after another 3 months. Not only does it flow slower, but it's also noticeably less palatable. We drink about 3 gallons of water a day (we fill gallon containers so we know), so one set will not filter more than 300 gallons

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Almost everything OK

The best water supply system under the sink.

Over the years I've had several water filters for my kitchen faucet: polyurethane systems that attach directly to the faucet, two-stage Omni filters under the sink, Whirlpool/PUR filters for the refrigerator. The Everpure H-1200 two-stage filtration system is by far the best. It's a lot more expensive than the others, but the cartridges last about a year (depending on usage). I've had this system for 8 years now and I have no dreams of replacing it. It's so well made that you couldn't tell it's

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Too Long To Wait

The filters have water flow to the trickle in less than a month!

I'm incredibly disappointed! My Everpure system supports THM-1/THM-2 or H-1200-1/H1200-2 cartridges. I bought them from a local dealer for the first 27 years. This time I chose Revain due to shipping delays and a complicated ordering process. Filters typically give us good, clean drinking water for 9 months to a year. Not this time. I built this house and I support it. It has a particle filter for the whole house, which is changed regularly (approx. every month). I know my plumbing job and my…

Great replacement for the old THM 1 and 2 cartridges.

These are refurbished replacement cartridges for the old THM 1 and 2 cartridges that I have been using for several years. They're about 2.5 inches longer than the THM models, so you "may" have to raise your head a bit higher if yours is set too low. Very easy to do, just two screws. They seem to perform just as well, if not slightly better than the THM models they replace. I get really good flow rates with them. Pro tip: When removing the old cartridge, make sure you twist it fully…

Good product! Good price!

I live on farms in South Florida where we have well water and a water softening system. I've been using this system for over 10 years and it works great with my drinking water. I hooked it up to the water lines at the kitchen sink and our ice and cold water refrigerator. This set comes with H-1200#1 and H-1200#2 cartridges, installation instructions, and a battery-powered replacement reminder. The reminder doesn't track water usage, instead a light will flash and beep after 11 months (330 days)

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine
