I really like the smell and feel but after a few months of use I can't comment on the "thickening effect". It probably doesn't help that I wear my hair so short.

I like Every Man Jack products because they smell good. This shampoo/conditioner feels good too. Mint, which smells like mint, will also make your head tingle if you wait a minute or so before rinsing it out. I have not felt the effects of hair thickening since I lost most of my hair many years ago. But the tingling seems to indicate increased scalp stimulation. I still can't tell if the product is genuine or not. The print on the label is a little suspicious. I didn't notice a significant improvement in density, but my hair became less greasy. It's hard to get it lathering unless applied directly to the head and worked with hands. smells good, but the hair does not smell. In general I don't hate it.
