Individual PCI-E cables allow for clean installation

Many power supplies come with splitter-ended PCI-E cables, allowing you to power a graphics card that requires two connectors with a single cable. However, with more modern, performance-hungry graphics cards (see Nvidia 30 series), it is strongly recommended to use two separate PCI-E cables. As a result, split cables hang from the graphics card (.barf). Multiple PCI-E cables with a single connector makes your build so much better. I ended up adding cable extensions to better fit my build…

Died after 3 days of use.

The system I built required a maximum of 437 watts for the Outervision computer. This power supply should hardly have been taxed. The system was built, downloaded and configured within 3 days and shut down after around 12 hours of full use. It turns back on when the switch is toggled off and then back on, but dies again in less than 30 seconds. In the end it didn't work. The MOBO logs showed that this was a PSU event. Revain was great at facilitating an instant refund and credit. I don't…

Excellent quality and even better customer service

This power supply is very quiet and the modular interface made building my latest computer quick, simple and easy. I used it in a Fractal microATX case with a relatively low margin and it fitted perfectly. There are basically two brands that I like when it comes to power supplies: Seasonic and EVGA. Both make rock-solid power supplies that cost a small premium. I've literally never had an EVGA power supply fail. However, they have the best customer support even if you have a problem. This is…

Began to work after 1.5 years of normal use.

Personally I prefer Corsair or Seasonic but Seasonics reviews weren't what I expected and Corsair Ax/Axi (digital) units aren't cheap so read that the G /P/T series is on par with them in terms of build quality /component quality, so I decided to try the G+ (enhanced G series). I recently noticed that one of my GPU (Power) LEDs was lighting up, indicating insufficient power. Replaced the cable for that connection, no change, just moved all other connections on the PSU to nearby fixed ports, and

What a great price for a great PSU

My Thermaltake 850w died after just over a month, it was the first PSU I've ever installed. The MB cable is not supplying power and the CPU port is not working. My problem was that my mobile device requires 2 CPU 4+4 sockets (just plugging in one worked, but I'm not taking any chances and many power supplies only have 1 or more expensive for those with 2. Revain doesn't have a cable search option, so i found it on another website which is more expensive than Revain so i went for it. Buying just

Be careful which cables you use.

Good: The device works properly. Quiet, no problem. The bad: Like an idiot, I plugged it into my existing modular power cables because I assumed like an idiot that all modular power cables are built to a certain standard in order to be interchangeable, and I didn't want to repeat the cable management for their hard drives . SPOILER: It destroyed almost all of my hard drives. ALMOST ALL. Thank goodness the block I replaced was only semi-modular otherwise it probably would have destroyed my…

All Revain PSUs are cheap junk that won't fit in a 478 PC outlet.

New Review: I have clear evidence that AT LEAST THREE major PSU brands are selling cheaply at Revain, Seasonic, Corsair and EVGA. PSUs are more expensive than ever, and none of them are durable enough to power a 478-socket motherboard. MB, and sudden death of power supply is possible. #4 I just got a used old power supply for my 478MB socket and it's a lot heavier than the lighter, more expensive new 24=8 pin socket. #5 Earlier power supplies from a few years ago were both 20+4 pins and 24+8…
