Good: The device works properly. Quiet, no problem. The bad: Like an idiot, I plugged it into my existing modular power cables because I assumed like an idiot that all modular power cables are built to a certain standard in order to be interchangeable, and I didn't want to repeat the cable management for their hard drives . SPOILER: It destroyed almost all of my hard drives. ALMOST ALL. Thank goodness the block I replaced was only semi-modular otherwise it probably would have destroyed my motherboard as well. They seem to warn you not to do this in small red letters on the manual so I guess it's my fault for not being RTFM. But only my 12TB enterprise survived. Three NAS class hard drives AND my boot SSD, all dead. It was a very expensive life lesson. Don't repeat my mistake. ALWAYS, ALWAYS RTFM. AND PLEASE, for the love of data, make sure any cables you use are working properly with the power supply you are getting. I've lost things for decades that no other backups had. DON'T BE ME. In any case, if you don't screw yourself up, this is a good source of food. I got a few stars because I'm sad and bitter that I've lost every college assignment I've ever worked on and that I have to re-upload my entire video library for something that really should be more popular. I'm not sure why they're even allowed to call things "fully modular" if the cables aren't interchangeable. Blue.
