NOT compatible with MAC

I connected it to my MacBook Air and I can't find it in the Finder - there is no RECORD folder as stated in the user manual.

Works as advertised

I can put this in my coat pocket and record the conversation. The only problem I had was remembering to turn it off so many times until I ran out of space a few hours later. Great little device and worth the money.

Great graduation gift

A parishioner's daughter was having trouble or making notes at school so I ordered this for her. The mini Dictaphone was the last option she had before making the decision to leave Vo-Tech. A church member's daughter now has a chance to stay in school and continue her education; I hope she doesn't use it for something evil.

Terrible -null functions

Well what do you expect for $20. You cannot pause while recording. There is no way to split records into separate folders. When the built-in battery runs out, the device turns off and you have to reset the time of things to use it again. Charging takes 3 hours. It's a disaster when you have to go to a meeting and the device is dead. That doesn't mean you can just pop in two new AA batteries and get full power. In my opinion, the development is not intended for intensive everyday use. I would…
