Pros and Cons: Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Pull it back while pulling the trigger. I prefer the metal atomizer over the plastic Evo. Although Kon, the metal atomizer tends to leak for unknown reasons. i will keep I don't want to go back to plastic. In addition, they must have additional labels. People like to have multiple oils; Please print one name per page. Many Thanks.

Atomizer Drops: Kitchen & Dining

As others have pointed out, the atomizer lacks the top thread of the bottle to stay on. It takes a lot of effort to tighten it, and just in case I have to hold the bottom with my other hand to make sure I don't spill 6 ounces of olive oil on my kitchen rug if the sprayer breaks. Very disappointing. Otherwise it's exactly what I wanted. I have a previous Evo that needed an upgrade and hated it.

  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Not Bad

Complete rubbish... - Kitchen & Dining

This is one of the most disappointing purchases I have made from Revain. Previous reviewers are absolutely right about the atomizer not staying on the bottle. It comes off all the time due to a manufacturing defect in the product where they aren't threaded enough where the atomizer and bottle meet. Instead of fixing the problem, the company decided to sell the defective product.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Works great Evo Oil Sprayer 16 oz Blue Stainless Steel

I've read some reviews and done some testing and there is a nozzle that rotates from the off position - horizontal fan jet - vertical fan jet. Pulling the trigger slowly creates a stream. If you pull harder, it will spray in a horizontal or vertical fan. It sprays a fair amount. You can only half pull if you don't need more. I boiled 2 eggs in an 8 inch pan, sprayed them twice and got lots of avocado oil.

  • Happy so far

Weak lid, but good spray pattern.

The atomizer produces fine oil mist which was a problem with previous atomizers. I find it good for a fine mist of oil on my "airy" fried chicken and fish. "BUT" the screw cap is so thin and flexible that the cap slips off when spraying and the bottle falls out of your hand. I'm hoping to "fix" this with wire wrapping between refills. The bottle's tapered top (and oily film) makes it impossible to rely on your hand to squeeze the bottle.

Cap won't screw on

As other reviews have mentioned, the plastic end of the atomizer doesn't screw onto the bottle very well. When you squeeze the handle to spray, it pops out of the bottle. And it's not about delay. If I overtighten it it will slip off the threads too. I can try to glue it in place. Not sure what other reviewers think of the spray pattern, this part works great with jet or mist spray options. Avocado oil comes out in a steady mist unless the bottle falls over and makes a huge mess.

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Some issues

Good idea, bad execution

I was going to love this sprayer but within the first two weeks of use the beautiful fan jet turned into two high speed jets at 45Β° to each other. Obviously this isn't ideal for evenly distributing pans, veggies, etc. Cleaning requires the spray nozzle to be completely drained of oil and hot soapy water to be passed through it. Doing this twice a month or more is a pain in the ass. The atomizer needs a more reliable mechanism to prevent clogging. To be honest the bottle is well made and I had…

  • Don't waste too much time
