The patented shape prevents you from twisting your forearm like what you usually do with an ordinary mouse. ALSO AVAILABLE in Small (VMDSW) and Medium (VMDMW). The Size Chart for hand size has been updated as of 1/8/21. PROGRAM YOUR MOUSE TO YOUR NEEDS - Install the Evoluent Mouse Manager onto your computer to configure the VerticalMouse's buttons. Not only can you change their function but you can also set how the buttons work within different programs. CONNECTIONS: Wireless USB Receiver. GROOVED BUTTONS - Your fingertips rest in a shallow groove on the buttons. This patented innovation secures the mouse in your hands and makes moving it much more precise. ADJUST MOUSE-SPEED FROM LOW TO HIGH - You can adjust the pointer speed from low to high with the optical sensor controls on the side of the mouse. There is no need to release the grip for speed adjustment. Product might not work on reflective surfaces. Carpal Tunnel Relief

I've been using this brand of mouse for extensive AutoCAD work since the mid 1990's and have never been disappointed. Personally, this mouse offers significant pain relief for wrist syndrome in addition to faster multi-function button actuation. Since my hands are larger than average, this latest version fits me much better. However, I called the factory before purchasing to make sure the sizing is correct, and this larger size requires a hand measuring at least 8.3 inches from fingertip to…

Makes your hands sweaty!

So here's the thing. I've been using this for about a week now. There is definitely a learning curve, as I expected. It's easy to click the two buttons next to the thumb position if you're not careful, but this is just one of those things. If it really bothers you, you can just disable these buttons - most mice don't have those extra buttons anyway. But here is my main problem with it. it makes my hand sweat. The surface is hard plastic but I think a light rubberized layer on the outside would…

Fits hand well, relieves pressure

I have arthritis in my wrists which is getting worse and a colleague highly recommends this brand. I tried the VM4 during a work day and found it more comfortable but wanted a wireless version. I first bought a medium size but found them a bit small and as they are so expensive I decided not to settle for them and ordered a large. For me it made a huge difference in overall comfort and I'm glad I did. For a mouse this expensive, one would expect a better sensor (it almost needs a mouse pad) and

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Hard to tell

I've tested Anker, Jelly Comb, Logitech and this one is the most comfortable for my large hand, but THIS IS HOT. I'm in Phoenix and my room is warm, but out of all the mice I've tested, this is the only one that makes me sweat, it gets too hot after about 10 minutes. I don't know if I can keep it, but it's the most convenient. Not sure why this is the most expensive upright mouse I've tested and it's so close to perfect but too short. I need to use Logitech and bring this back.

Pain in the wrists or elbows is eliminated. Better than VM4

For years I've used a wired mouse with weights that you could add or remove to adjust sensitivity. It was good, but too heavy and inaccurate. I then upgraded to the wireless Logitech MX Master 2, which was excellent in every way but ergonomically terrible. The muscles on the outside of the elbow began to ache. I knew I needed a new mouse. First, I settled on the Logitech MX model. However, upon further research, I found that Logitech's bracket angle is 57 degrees instead of 90 degrees. The key…

Invalid sticky note

I'm a 3D modeler and need a smooth glide. The glide pads on this mouse are almost microscopic. As a result, I can't get a smooth glide, and the cursor jumps after each glide hover. Not a big deal when reading a web page, but unacceptable when dealing with vertices and specific pixels. I have owned several Evoluent mice and in every other way this mouse is as good or better than any other model I have owned. I've owned this mouse for over a day, so I can't tell if the primary click lasts more…

  • Could have chosen a newer model
