I really liked this extra bed. It was durable, matched the bed well and looked very nice. I had to go back because it wasn't high enough for the bassinet mattress to sit flush with my bed mattress. Because I liked it so much I thought about keeping it, but then I read about a baby who choked when a pillow fell off the bed. My pillow falls off a lot, so I decided not to risk it.

This sofa bed literally saved our sanity. Our little one only wanted to sleep where she could touch us or sleep on us. We tried putting her in the little cradle next to our bed but she didn't like it. She woke up every hour and soon fell asleep again after being in our arms. Then we bought this. Love the idea of this bassinet and think with a few adjustments it could be a 5 star product. First, all of the fabric on the sleeper's sides should be mesh for a safe night's sleep. The height needs to be set even higher! I have a 12 inch mattress and need to raise it a few inches. I love the size of this carrycot! He's well above average. I can say that the mattress is very hard. But that's a plus and it helped me not to worry about sleeping on something too soft all night (higher risk of suffocation). It has wheels which we didn't use often. One of the great features is the ability to adjust the height, which is very important if you want to put it next to the bed. I was skeptical because we had to return another bed to Buybuybaby because it didn't fit our bed.
