The diagrams are terrible and I had to take a picture and enlarge them on my phone to be able to read them. Another thing that others have mentioned. The stand is very solid, but the top shell that the HomePod sits on is made of cheap plastic, not the metal/steel that the rest of the stand is made of.

First of all, there was no silicone pad in my kit. More importantly, the stand wobbles a bit on the carpeted floor. I'm afraid my dog's wagging tail will knock him over. I installed several HomePods and was looking for an attractive speaker stand for my living room. The EVOS fixed height floor stand was the ideal solution. It's stylish, thoughtful, durable and functional. Some say they had sound issues (loss of bass and/or volume). I haven't encountered that personally. Assemble the stand in 10 minutes. If I had one criticism to share, perhaps EVOS should have designed the power cord clips rather than relying on Velcro. Overall very happy with my purchase!

So this is a really good stand. metal, hard. Mine wobbled slightly from the base. I think it's just the design of the screws. The problem is that I'm giving it 4 stars because this stand interferes with the Apple Homepod volume in some way. Honestly, this should have gotten five stars. When installing the base, one of the screws was slightly torn off. I gently turned the screw clockwise for about 5 minutes until it was right. Pooh! I didn't want to send any back because they look great; I have 2 for a stereo pair of HomePods. Wow! The sound is incredible. And the floor doesn't vibrate! There are six silicone tabs on the bottom. Racks are excellent. They have a nice heavy base that won't move or slip on hardwood/laminate floors while the included feet are in place. The platform that HomePod sits on is also solid, but the tape that wraps around HomePod to hold it in place is a bit flimsy. This doesn't affect the stand much, as it's really designed so that if the stand is knocked over, the HomePod won't fall over.
