Poor quality DVR

The cameras are on and the DVR freezes and randomly disconnects and reconnects. I know it's not cameras because I have other PC software and there are no problems.

Pretty good price for $67

Fine. Actually a pretty good value at $67. My background. I've been using PoE cameras for 10 years, mostly with Blue Iris software. I have multiple PoE cameras. hikvision, hikvision clones, SV3C, Reolink, Anpviz, ONWOTE, Dahua… Now I have 8 cameras. I have several 8 megapixel cameras that this device doesn't even try to transfer. Great value for a ton of possibilities but 5MP video seemed just like 1080P

I was excited to get the 5MP NVR and try it out on my existing security camera system which is only 1080P. As a background, I set up two 1080P NVRs with 9 ONVIF cameras connected to a Netgear Nighthawk R6700 router both wirelessly and via a 1G wired LAN. I use this system every day for security and wildlife monitoring. The monitor is a 65" Sony 4K OLED TV, each NVR connects to the TV's own HDMI input.
