I put these metal strips in my sheet masks and they do wonders in holding the top of your mask to the bridge of the nose. You get quite a lot in the package, so it's well worth the money you're spending. I take them off my masks before throwing them in the wash and then put them back on when my masks are dry. I accidentally tossed one in the laundry and nothing happened to it so that was good. However, it wasn't as sticky as before.

These strips do the job of keeping the mask on the nose. I also use them in the mask so it doesn't get sucked into my mouth when I breathe in and they are very good for that purpose. Contrary to other reviewers, I find that the sticky side adheres to the fabric quite well. The problem is, if you intentionally bend the strip to your nose, every time you put the mask on, the bend will strain the metal and the strip will break. They're so cheap, I just swap them out for others, but it's annoying…

It took me about 100 tries to find the best way to insert these nose clips into the face masks I sewed, but now I don't see myself ready to go back to using pipe cleaners. which are much easier to implement. The flat wire makes it more comfortable on the face. The glue on the wires makes repositioning easy, but after you've tried to move it more than twice it really loses its stickiness, so it's best to sew the wire into the hem of the mask.
