ExcelMark Ink Pad For Rubber Stamps 2-1/8&#34 Review

Product came very dry, ink barely ran out of the block with my stamps. The ink is still recyclable, however, as I was able to revive the ink using a bottle of ExcelMark ink (using the same bran) I already had. I have to assume that the product was probably in the warehouse/warehouse for too long and the ink has started to dry up. Everything is working fine now, but I'm wondering how long the pads will last before the ink starts to dry and you need refills.

I was hesitant to purchase the purple hue of this ink pad as some reviews said the ink looked black. However, I was hoping for the purple hue! The ink pad looks dark but once you print it the color is noticeably purple and definitely not so dark that it looks black. I also wanted the ink pad to be flat to get the best ink coverage for my intricate logo, which is this one. I have to stamp the ink pad a few times to get adequate coverage, but it could be a stamp. Incorrect seal size. I have purchased this stamp before and expected to receive an ink pad that matched the image. You can see in the picture that the top panel has a full-size panel while the bottom one doesn't. These are both lists but the following is my most recent purchase. Because the rim makes the pad smaller, I can no longer use my large dies, even if I adjust them due to the overhang at the rim of the pad. All in all very disappointing. I mostly use my own typed or pre-painted dies but there are always a few old fashioned dies on a stick that require a pad and are custom made and should be used occasionally and should be found in the box a stamp pad.
