Upgrade! I bought these curtains many years ago and they are still hanging in my bedroom. I moved to a new place and kept trying on curtains in the living room but kept getting disappointed and couldn't find TEX. I decided to try these and love them. They are ideally combined with a light, flowing atmosphere. I love these curtains and will say they make a huge difference. Going white means you shouldn't expect them to fail, instead they barely dim the light. Also, don't expect the length to be as described. The inner thicker liner is slightly 2 inches shorter than the outer mesh layer and even 0.5 inches shorter than the listed size. I should never have used the measurements in the description to install them, so I regret not actually measuring them before hanging the rod on the freshly painted walls.
