I use these to exfoliate waxed areas and the body and the washcloth grabs and pulls the hairs out just before they go through the swelling phase. Lathers well with shower gel and regular bar soap.

They look more like a hard cloth than a loofah. The good thing about them is the price, and by that I mean I'm not too upset about wasting $7.

Bought for my mother who is 84 years old. It's too hard, it's not smooth like a sponge, and the edges are hard and will scratch your skin if you're older or have sensitive skin. I'm in my early 50s and won't even use these pads to wash my car. I couldn't use it on my mother, too harsh for her skin. The harder part might be acceptable to your sole, but that's about it.

I have used a washcloth for many years. That's probably why I get so many compliments that my skin is soft. After a few years I switched from round to flat with a wrist strap, hoping to find something more appropriate to cover more area than those round ones you hold like a sponge. Appears to be a very strong loofah but has been found to be too strong meaning it does not fold easily and is very stiff. If you love lather, it doesn't release it at all, no matter how much shower gel you add. It broke after about a month of use so I was able to remove the foam that is inside. Judging by the photo, the thickness is about 1/2 inch. After removing it is easier to use but still does not foam. It's also too soft on the exfoliating side, so it doesn't feel like you're exfoliating…
