Make sure your truck has a 3 " pipe, mine was 2 3/4 so I had to get an adapter

The product has a very nice matte black finish and a screw clamp for Tighten it onto your current exhaust tip. What you see on my truck is a 3 inch intake. I wore them for about 2 weeks without any problems, I didn't have any discolouration either, but after the winter I will inform you again if anything changes.

Excellent purchase. on exhaust pipes and tips

worked for about a month with no problems. Very tight fit with a rubber mallet to insert so once tightened I know it's not going anywhere. He really turned up the volume. what I like. I trimmed the stock exhaust about 6 inches to match the tip to the stock exhaust without the stock exhaust pipe coming out of the tip neck. So far I'm very happy with the sound quality and fit. .

Great looking tip

The tip was packaged nicely and was delivered quickly. I love the look of the new black on the truck. Installing the new tip was fairly easy, just slide it over the exhaust pipe and tighten. The construction and materials used are very high quality and I'm excited to see how they hold up over the long term. It took me quite a bit of effort to get my old exhaust tip off, but it wasn't anything an angle grinder and a bit of patience couldn't fix. Overall very happy with this product.

YES IT AFFECTS SOUND

You are told that your exhaust tip is purely aesthetic and will not affect the tone or tone of your system. I have a degree in audio engineering and have studied acoustics pretty thoroughly. If you later extend your exhaust pipe in the line and project it at that angle and angle, the sound will get deeper and project the sound. On my 2012 Ram 1500 4.7 with the Flowmaster 44, this amplifies the growl and deepens the tones slightly, leaving a nice buzz without the obnoxious hum.

Not 3 inches but the powder coating is pretty awful

I never gave 1 star but here I am. But let me tell you, it wasn't even close. I was able to push it through a few inches by trying to widen the hole with a hammer and screwdriver (and spraying the exhaust pipe with WD-40), but it dulled. Once I had it a few inches it was absolutely solid. Far from where it should have been, but completely stuck. I ended up having to cut my exhaust pipe off as I couldn't get it off and even now I can't get that piece of exhaust pipe out of this thing. It's a…
