Ideal quantity for diesel intercooler tubes 7.3. Both Pipes

Just enough for me to make both intercooler pipes on my 202 Ford F250 Superduty 7.3 Diesel. After wrapping them, I sealed them with a high temperature clear coat and clear flexible sealant to avoid fiber later on the road.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Weight

Doesn't work better in replacement parts

Spend your money and buy an exhaust plate. This cheap one doesn't work. It will turn white on the second heating! Does not stick or leave on pipes. Doesn't even protect from the heat! You might as well put a rag on top of the pipes instead of that cheap thing. Very very sorry for the product.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Turns white in exhaust and emissions

Looks good when first opened, 1 drive and starts to turn white, I probably should have applied silicone spray before warming up. We need to go back to black (definitely you need to install new studs). For the price you get a really good roll and it seems to have lowered the temperature by about 10 degrees compared to my worn out previous slide.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Negative gift

Loses paint Smokes and smells

I wrapped a Harley Vance and Hines 2-into-1 exhaust system with this product. Be sure to wear a polyethylene raincoat to protect yourself from all the fiberglass, as well as a mask and goggles. After installing and idling the engine, the foil began to smoke like a whistle and continued to smoke. Upon later inspection, the color changed almost entirely from blue to white. It's my third day and the film still smells and smokes. The supplied stainless steel clamps were tight and loose and were…

Great wrap, more than enough length for a medium piping.

I bought this because it was the cheapest option with the longest packaging. I was concerned that other 20-30 foot kits would not do. That was more than enough to cover my pipes with the residue. I followed the usual directions for cleaning your pipes by dipping this film in a bucket of water and then applying it wet. It gets messy, put on your old clothes and THICK rubber gloves. There will be some dripping of blue paint, but more importantly, the fiberglass will irritate your skin like hell…

  • Ugly Packaging
