Before I decided on these I did some research on collapsible water bottles. I took it west on a plane and was very disappointed. When I drank from it, the water tasted "funny" and the rubbery material attracted a lot of lint. It has good reviews overall so I figured I'd like it. And again I was very disappointed. I donated it to charity; maybe someone else likes it.

The overall concept works, but the water still tastes like silicone. The listing claims that this does not affect the taste of the water and given the high cost I was unhappy that these claims were not true. I've washed the bottle in the dishwasher several times and it still affects the taste of the water meaning something must have leached out. I would definitely not buy this again.

I spend my summers in Israel visiting historical sites and also working on archaeological sites. I wanted a water bottle that folds but didn't like the way they fall. Crazy but annoying. This one stays upright, is easy to use, and holds quite a bit of water. I wish it could fit more but it works as advertised. I wish there was more water in the bottle but it's in the same range as most other bottles of this type.

Bought this water bottle to travel around Europe. Before leaving the house, I washed, soaked and rinsed the bottle 3-4 times according to the manufacturer's instructions. When I arrived at my destination, I was happy to take a bottle with me for hiking. The first sip was terrible! the water had a terrible chemical taste and everything smelled terrible. I tried washing again but to no avail. It was unusable and was eventually thrown away. I wasted money and space on a completely useless product.

Packed to save space. It definitely is. The cast is excellent. However, the bottle tastes so strongly of chemicals that it burns. Not like old water in a plastic bottle, but like real chemicals. We bought it in advance to use on holiday so unfortunately it was the last return period when we used it. We'll try to clean it up again using another method, but if that doesn't work, it goes in the trash or donation bin, which sucks because $30 for a water bottle is a lot to start with.

AMAZING! i love this bottle I bought this for business trips but it deserves the spot of my daily water bottle. Rolled up it's quite small, although the cap has a one-way valve that you have to suck in to drink, an air valve to reinflate the bottle after a sip, and a lockable safety cap to prevent spills. t is very small. The EXIT bottle is perfect for filling at the airport before boarding the plane. It's not as compact as the other silicone bottle I've received, but that's due to the flip-top plastic cap, which I like. The bottle is strong and will stand on its own whether empty or full (provided you use the air valve in the cap to let in enough air to fill the empty space so the bottle doesn't collapse at all).
