Good packaging, nice cage

Very nice cage. The background doesn't fit as well as it should, so our gecko ended up between the glass and the spongy background. It won't suffer but we had to crop it to fit better.

Pros
  • Ready
Cons
  • Long delivery

Not warm enough for a desert reptile.

The lighting system does not allow anything over 26W. Our aquarium does not get hotter than 70 degrees with two lamps: an Exo Terra Repti-Glo 10.0 compact fluorescent terrarium lamp and a 25W Exo Terra Sun-Glo neodymium lamp. Our gecko only comes out of the rock if we put a heater next to the tank to increase the temperature. Bad product design.

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • Secret

Unfortunately I can't give this to my grandson for Christmas because it's broken! I didn't even have to open the habitat box because I could hear the sound of glass breaking. It was placed in a box that was at least 6 inches taller and wider than the habitat kit box and contained a small piece of brown paper. There are no pads at all! There was a "heavy" sticker on the outside of the box, but nothing to suggest it might be broken!

Pros
  • A dream comes true
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Perfect fit for my son, a baby bearded dragon

We ended up buying this set for our son's first reptile, a baby bearded dragon. It's perfect. It's great that this set comes with everything you need to get started, apart from a heat lamp and a lightbulb. We chose the repti-glo 10.0 and a mini halogen spotlight that fits the screen perfectly and is very flat. Item arrived in perfect condition, delivery was fast. We are very happy with the purchase. This is a very good setup for beginners and you can't go wrong.

Pros
  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good terrarium set - reptiles and amphibians

I surprised my son for his eleventh birthday and he is delighted. He saved money to buy a bearded dragon and it's a great starter house. It had almost everything we needed for living. For the lamp, you need to buy a light bulb separately. Also, we used a different substrate as my son had a bearded baby. We also added a floating bridge. I know my son's bearded dragon will need a bigger house in just a few months, but my son is really looking forward to bringing his leopard gecko into this set if

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Everything is fine
