We bought these for our 9 lab puppies to make them easier to identify when selling. They worked well except the pinks, purples and reds faded. The puppies chewed each other's collars. We had to write color on it or turn it over to determine the color. Everyone else was fine.

I breed Great Danes and often we have had puppies that looked almost alike. These collars are perfect and we always purchase matching records so we can keep records of each puppy separately. These particular ones are for slightly older puppies, maybe 2-3 weeks old. They don't come off, so don't use them on newborns. They are strong enough to be used for leash training and are washable. Love the different colors and the fact that there are 14 in a pack which is great for large casts.

The only reason I even considered them among countless other great products was because they have writable PVC labels. Although they are "technically" derived from PVC, I was very disappointed that they are very fragile and paper thin. Excellent collars for puppies. I like that they are easy to set up. However I removed the bells as I don't need the bells at 10 puppies! But a great addition to our breeding program! Bought the small size for Golden Retriever puppies aged 4-8 weeks.

Excellent collars! My dog had a litter of 11 puppies and this helped identify them better. They are very hardy and many still wear collars and the puppies are 2 months or older. These collars stand up to the weather and the roughness of puppies playing and biting each other. I even went inside for my small dogs. (they are perfect for dachshunds) I will buy them again if I ever need that many.
