Good value for minimalist running shoes

Love these shoes. I have been a minimalist runner for the past 10 years or so, and have used several brands of shoes. I love my Merrell Trail Gloves for walking but when running, they make an annoying slapping sound that I hate. These Aleaders don't do that. It might be because the outsole is softer rubber, which i don't think will hold up very long, but, hey, they were $36 not $90, so. The forefoot is nice and wide, the heel is narrow and form-fitting. I like the tie-less laces.TLDR, these…

Pros
  • Makes every running experience a joyful and uplifting one
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with sensitive feet

Best workout shoes I've ever purchased!

I'm hard on shoes, always have been, so I wish they lasted a little longer. That being said, they are the best workout shoes I've ever purchased and will keep purchasing them.

Pros
  • Breathable design to prevent feet from feeling sweaty and uncomfortable
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with knee pain

Love these minimalist shoes!

I have never had a pair of minimalist shoes & I love these Aleader trail shoes! They are super comfy & have good insoles. They are so easy to put on & take off with the elastic laces. They are washable too. I am considering ordering another pair as a backup.

Pros
  • I fit a 9.5 with wide fronts and narrow heals a
Cons
  • May not be slip-resistant

Order a size up good for me

I initially ordered my normal size 6 ( I wear a wide), it was too short. the 6/7 worked perfectly. Not sure how long lasting these will be but they feel great. Will review again on longevity-they do not look as sturdy as the New Balance I usually buy-we shall see. I almost only wear minimalist shoes and these have the wide toe box I need.

Pros
  • Ideal for trail running, hiking, and other outdoor activities
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with shin splints

In LOVE! best in my review

So, I had my mind set on the more expensive shoes that are minimalist- but my wallet was not set on that idea.I decided to try these and right out of the package I’m in love with them. It feels like I’m wearing nothing but at the same time I feel myself getting around better. Recently lost a lot of weight and I’m getting used to really walking around.I love the adjustable shoestrings too. So glad I got them❤️

Pros
  • Ideal for both beginners and experienced barefoot runners
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with circulation issues

Great shoes lasted six months

I really like these shoes. The fit is really great. They lasted about six months before I wore a hole through the sole. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Running
Cons
  • Not suitable for runners who need a lot of ankle support

For those of you who are already accustomed to barefoot shoes and looking to save money, give these a try. I've had Merrell gloves that are awesome but expect them to tear up in about a year. I personally dislike Vibrams because I don't like the feeling of so much material between my toes, but if you don't mind that then sure stick with Vibrams. As for vivobarefoot, I honestly don't see the huge benefits for their price, and I had my pair for two years. Fair warning though, I only use closed…

Pros
  • Designed to cater to the unique needs of barefoot runners
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with high arches

so far so good - my new review

These shoes are very reasonably priced and are comfortable. I have been wearing them indoors to begin with so my feet can get used to having less padding around them. I plan in a couple weeks to wear them out on my morning walks of 3-5miles. so far so good though

Pros
  • I love the shoes. They are so comfortable. Fast and easy ordering and delivery.
Cons
  • May feel too tight or restrictive for some runners

Best shoe ever! best in my review

As an autistic adult I find shoes incredibly uncomfortable. I have always preferred to be barefoot but of course that its frowned upon in some social situations and definitely jnot reasonable in the cold of winter.my whole life I've suffered the hell of forcing my feet into these God awful contraptions. Somehow I had never been told such a thing as barefoot shoes exist. When I discovered they were a real thing and did my research I decided to buy these shoes, figuring that in the worst case I'd

Pros
  • Lightweight and flexible for comfortable and natural movement
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with hammertoes

Great for walking. good for me

The shoes are not heaving on the feet. They are so comfortable. There is no breaking in the shoes. Planning to buy another color.

Pros
  • Reduces impact on the feet, knees, and other joints
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with ingrown toenails

My favorite shoe! best in my review

I have never loved a shoe more than I love these. I have already bought a second pair for back-up! I have a wide foot and some foot swelling after spending 12 hours on my feet at work. My feet and legs would ache after a long day and my shoes would end up too tight for comfort. Now, I can work a full 12 hours on my feet and can concentrate on my work instead of pain. The are wide and very flexible making for a comfy fit all day. I have started using my second pair for daily wear outside of the…

Pros
  • Provides ultimate comfort and support for the feet
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with bunions

These are my favorite!

They are very comfortable. The only thing is I wish it had a lil less of a heel, but truly just my favorite shoes in the sense of comfort & they even look good. They don’t look super odd.

Pros
  • Forefoot cushioning ensures comfort underfoot
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with sciatica

Over 200mi's logged: A+

If you're a runner that has already done the work to learn about your pose and stride and have or want to ween yourself off of expensive, and/or unnecessarily cushioned running shoes (bc youre not pounding the ground running dozens of miles/day), these are for you. Even if you're someone who wants to get out of narrow walking shoes and have your feet learn to feel the ground and strengthen, these are also for you.I run 1-5miles any given day. I also workout (squat, etc) in these also.In the…

Pros
  • Helps to develop stronger and more toned muscles in the feet and legs
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with stress fractures

Like comfy grippy slippers

I'm so happy with these sneakers! I normally wear a straight 7w so I was a little torn on whether to get 6.5/7 or 7.5. I ordered the 6.5/7 and they were too small. I could get them on, but my toes were right up at the top seam. Returned them and ordered the 7.5 and they're perfect! Wore these the first day for 8 hours straight, working in a school cafeteria and then at the gym. No breaking in required.Just a note* these are very grippy on normal surfaces but just a tad slick on wet tiles…

Pros
  • Features a slip-resistant sole for added stability and security
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with Achilles injuries
