My favorite KEEN shoe

I have more than 5 pairs of KEEN shoes, and this one is my favorite of all of them because:— It looks great! I love the shade of blue.— Excellent ventilation, it keeps my feet cool.— Great aggressive tread for nonslip traction.— Very comfortable.Although this is technically a "work shoe” I’ve been wearing this every day around the house and for going places where I want to dress nice. It looks dressy enough that I can get away with wearing this for almost every occasion. One of my favorite shoes

Pros
  • The shoe provides excellent arch support, reducing the risk of injury
Cons
  • Breaks down quickly with prolonged use

Surprisingly comfortable.

KEEN's Nxis Hiking Shoes are very nicely made with a soft, but durable, fabric upper and a dense and thick outer sole. The outer sole wraps around the front of the shoe to offer toe protection when hiking. These KEENs look and feel high quality. They also look stiff, bulky, and uncomfortable, but are the exact opposite. They fit me very nicely and have a soft and supportive innersole, and a nicely cushioned upper and tongue. They move very well and feel comfortable and supportive. They breathe…

Pros
  • The KEEN Men's Nxis Speed Low Height Vented Hiking Shoe is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to wear for extended periods
Cons
  • Takes a long time to dry when wet

Strange Fit for my opinion

Liked the shoe. But 10 was too short and 10.5 was too loose. I like a roomy toe box, but it was kind of a boxy fit. Lacks breathability, causing feet to sweat excessively.

  • Shoes
Cons

Excellent for dry, hot hikes.

These superbly ventilated Keen hiking shoes are for hot and dry conditions. Despite what the comparison chart at the bottom of the product page claims in its top line description of these shoes, they are not waterproof. Notice that the chart does not claim these are "Keen Dry Waterproof" lower on the chart. These are definitively NOT waterproof. But for that very reason they are better for hot dry conditions because, not needing to be lined with Gore-Tex (or whatever Keen uses for its…

Pros
  • The ventilation ensures that your feet stay cool and dry at all times
Cons
  • Slightly overpriced compared to similar hiking shoes

Nice mix of protection and flexibility

I have been a fan of Keen for many years. I have a pair of Keen hiking boots that I absolutely love and have worn for many years.I was looking for a pair of shoes that would provide some support and protection while hiking but were a lot lighter and more flexible than my hiking boots. These shoes have the iconic Keen large toe box which makes them feel roomy in the front. These are sized more like boots than they are shoes and required thicker socks to fit well. I have some Keen shoes and this…

Pros
  • The shoe is available in a variety of sizes and colors, so you can choose the perfect one for your needs
Cons
  • Sizing options are limited for those with larger or smaller foot sizes

Very comfortable best in my review

Great shoe comfortable for walking but definitely wear socks there is a stitch on the inside that will rub and cause a blister, but after wearing with socks perfect 👍

Pros
  • The shoe is designed to promote natural foot movement, reducing the risk of injuries
Cons
  • The insole is poorly constructed, leading to wear and tear

Great shoe. Does what was expected and as advertised.

Was looking for a good comfortable hiking shoe with arch support. This show fits the bill. I have heavier boots, but I wanted something for easy to moderate trails that is lightweight. Just hiked all over Zion, Bryce and Arches National Parks and have no complaints. One of the trails we did is Angels Landing and it is listed as strenuous. The shoe did just fine going up and especially going down, which is steep.good grip.

Pros
  • With a low height, these shoes are perfect for hiking and other outdoor activities
Cons
  • No ankle support, prone to injuries
