My paddle board did not come with a leash so I ordered this one and I was hesitant due to the reviews saying it broke first use, but this thing was AMAZING! i ordered the 9 foot one because we like to do flips and get crazy on the board and I felt very safe the entire time with this leash. I was very strong and durable and comfortable for your ankle compared to most leashes! Def worth the money and the style is super cute too!

After receiving a defective leash, Bywater Outdoor Products did a wonderful job of replacing it with no hassle and in a friendly and timely manner, The new leash is great and is taking well to our local waves! Thanks!

For the price, i amagined set off red flags on the quality. When I first tried it, I realized it was better than esp by far! May not be as secure in windy conditions.

I have only used the leash a couple times. It is seems of very high quality. Just as good if not better as the more expensive name brand leashes like Quicksilver or Volcom. Like the complimentary water tight pouch that comes with it.

I originally gave this five stars but had to change it after the leash has literally come off my ankle twice. The Velcro used is too weak. It’s fine when your board tugs on your leg but if you get blown up by a wave, the water can literally peel the Velcro back and away goes your board.

I understand that i have 30 days to return the product.i bought this at end if May, the first time i used the product was 08/22 because i had a serious injury on my back so i could not do any sports.tried to contact the vendor but no response.the leash has a serious safety problem, the velcro does not stay on, i had to swim to the beach with big waves and strong currents.do not buy this product, it is a safety hazard.

I wanted to give this brand a try since the price was cheaper. I have tried two 6' and two 9' leashes. Of the four, three of the ankle cuffs came loose during surf sessions. My guess is that the Velcro is not strong enough. So when my ankles rubbed together during paddling or cross stepping, the ankle cuffs would loosen by themselves. My kids had the same experience with the leashes too. I would not recommend this brand at all.

A good solid leash. Still a bit stiff, but it's wearing in.Update- After a few months of use, the leash is still very stiff and easily tangles. It's caused my feet to get caught too many times while popping up. I'm getting something else.

the leash is fine. Used several time and no problems. The waterproof bag that is included fell apart after second use. Still functions but I have to try to fit the pieces together in order to use it.

I will give this leash 4 stars for value. Nothing noteworthy other than it works fine, and I like leashes with the ring to grab when you undo the leash.The Velcro part of the ankle strap is a little different than regular Velcro, and works fine if you apply a little pressure to make sure it’s secure when you put it on. I have had the leash come undone at the ankle strap before, but once I started taking an extra 5 seconds to make sure it was secure, the leash has been totally fine.

Quality leash with very strong Velcro. Love the bright yellow color. Great water proof pouch as a free bonus. That's my feedback.
