Surface does not hold suction cup

The dotted surface is not smooth enough to hold the suction cup for installation, so I could not use it. Have previously purchased an Explux PAR 38 which holds a suction cup and the bulbs work well.

Faint flickering on low settings, surprisingly bright light

I bought these lamps specifically for artwork lighting (2700K) so you can see why the ability to adjust the brightness is so important. Those lights flicker horribly when you drop the level below about 50%. Also, they're slightly longer than my halogen bulbs, causing them to protrude a bit more beyond the eyeball, resulting in a noticeably harsher light. very disappointed.

Very bright but not as dark as the halogens they were meant to replace

They arrived quickly and were well packaged. They're a bit smaller and shorter than the halogens I'm looking to replace in my halo eyeball mounts, but they fit in here easily. At full power on my dimmer, the luminous flux of the LEDs is identical to halogen and almost the same color temperature. You can't tell the difference between an LED and a halogen, they are equivalent at maximum brightness. However, at the lowest dimmer setting, the LEDs are still fairly bright, glaring even. I will…
