Plug and Play on the inside

Overview: As described. Plug and Play, works fine on Windows 10, it was available for download. The speed is mediocre because the ASMedia controller is different from Intel, especially when used on external RAID drives. It works great for the money and I'm happy with the expanded USB options it offers.

Requires a PCI EX2 slot or

I gave this 5 stars consistently because it would be unfair of me to give less. I have a PC with a high end ASUS motherboard with PCI slots, so I assumed I could use that. When I went to install, I saw that in addition to large slots for video cards, there are only PCI EX1 slots. This requires at least EX2, which is longer and larger. So I can't use it. I wanted USB 3.1 capabilities in my tower computer. This is an older car. At least that's how I hope to help those who have old machines andโ€ฆ

Works best inside

I wanted to add more modern USB ports to an old computer and this helped. Installation was easy and Windows 10 recognized it immediately. Highly recommended if you have an open PCIe port and want to upgrade to USB 3.1 gen2.

An easy way to add high-speed USB data transfer capability to an older computer

Although Revain offers several USB 3.1 expansion cards, the advantage of the LTERIVER expansion card is that it gives you two USB 3.1 ports. Generation 2 ability; Transfer rate 10 Gbs. Most others are USB3.1 generation 1 cards or slower. Installing the LTERIVER card on my computer was mechanically simple. Since I didn't have a free slot for it, I removed the COM port I didn't need and used the vacated slot. The computer was then booted up. When I opened Windows Device Manager, I found that myโ€ฆ
