If you have your own well, you will need a booster pump.

This device is very easy to connect (very good instructions) but there are MANY connections to be made. It looks very complicated (see photo). Since my well pressure is typically 40-60psi, it was too low to completely fill the tank and the flow from the faucet was very low and it took a long time to fill a gallon jug. Adding a $115 booster pump solved the problem. I use this to pour water into my filter/wick humidifier. This device has a deionizing filter, so the water that comes out is like…

Better than I had hoped!

Okay, this is a rating based on previous use. I installed the device under the sink and the filters were washed in about 45 minutes. The installation went as smoothly as possible. zero leaks. And they even send a few extra general parts and an extra set of canister filter o-rings. The management could not have been better. Short and sweet. (I work as a tech and see manuals so bad you can't understand them and give you a headache trying to do this. So I flushed the filters and filled the tank…

Very happy with the system.

I've wanted RO/DI ststem for a long time. I maintain aquariums and plants that require very clean water. Tap water over 400 µS. This system reduced it to 5-7. If you have very hard water like me you can also get a whole house filter for pre-treatment (that will be my next project) but it does an excellent job of cleaning the water even without it. Installation on a stainless steel kitchen sink took about an hour. The hardest part was drilling a hole in the steel for the faucet, and it took…

Very important. Bottle quality water. Rapid regeneration

We had a reverse osmosis system under the sink for many years. Decided to update this unit and glad we did. It's rated at 100 gallons per day and is probably capable. Regenerates quickly. Provides more water pressure for the water in our refrigerator door. It is recommended to rinse the device again before use. After a thorough rinse, the water quality is fantastic. Just as good if not better than any bottle of H2O in my opinion. One of the hoses wasn't fully connected, so we had an initial…

Probably worth the rest if you have dough.

Excellent. I'm buying two more for my brothers for Christmas. Pretty easy to install. I think the hardest part of the install, overlooked before buying, is drilling a 1/4 inch hole in the drain. Then attach a drain clamp to it. it's in the basement next to my fountain everything you need to install a filter system (under the sink) is there plus spare parts i'm worried about the water pressure (and i'm only in the house) goes through 6 filters in a 1/4" -Pipe. According to my water tester, my…

Skip the deionizer and use the diaphragm flush valve

This kit gives you a lot of features for the price but I would recommend this kit instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J2DGTD8/ref= emc_b_5_t Below I will explain why. First of all, I really like this set. This kit contains everything needed for a standard installation. It has an automatic shut off when the tank is full, which is a key feature as without this shut off valve these units can generate around 300 gallons of waste water per day. Second, it has two stages of carbon filtration in…
