It has a band in front which I thought would hold it around but it doesn't. And really bad quality. Although the color is beautiful. My curls aren't quite out of my bra strap yet, so they're not so long and heavy that the hat can't hold them.

I like it when I make braids of any length and they fit me. I'm not sure if you've seen ads or heard of Kay no-knot hats that are essentially exactly the same, only triple the price and I haven't noticed a difference. Mine has a slight tear at the bottom of the button and it's annoying when the hood wobbles to the side when you pull it up. Overall, it's easy to use, decent quality, and takes the strain off your neck from heavy/long braids.

Once I got all my coils together and tried to fit them into the hood and use the button to secure the hood, it didn't work. In fact, it was a colossal failure. The hood flew to the side. The manufacturers of this product should go to the drawing board and see how they can improve this product. Extremely disappointed!

I liked this product so much I bought a second one. The elastic stays on all night and is just long enough to accommodate my curves in the middle of the back. Also, the Brit had a nice button that I use to hold when I'm in the shower.
