Do you want free tv?

I get 45 TV channels with my streaming provider. I connected my house to the Channelmaster's antenna and amplifier and connected all the cables to this connector. I get 50 HD OTA channels for free!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Useless features

8 seater at a great price.

This splitter uses an external UHF-VHF loft antenna that splits the over-the-air signal to eight separate room TVs without signal loss or separate power supplies. The kit also included a separate screw for installation.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works as advertised but be aware of signal requirements

Works perfectly but be aware that to get an acceptable signal after it you need a lot of signal before the splitter. I used an amplifier before the splitter to ensure reasonable signal levels at each output.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • So far so good

Now I can connect 8 TVs if I want.

Works great. My outdoor TV antenna is connected to a Channel Master preamp set to high, which in turn is connected to this passive 8-way splitter. I have 4 TVs and 2 DVRs connected to it and they all get a very good signal.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Other Other

Worked great for me.

I did great. I was concerned about the MHz range because I was seeing a bit higher. But I have a lot of digital TV channels so I assume it's ok. My personal theory is that the lower MHz range blocks unwanted signal noise. Who knows, but it works.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Can't remember

Quality construction and improved signal

I used it to replace several splitters I had in my basement. I use an antenna and amplifier to pick up local radio stations. Eliminating some splinters and bundling all my cable inputs together seemed to improve the signal to the TVs in my house a bit. It also looks a lot cleaner without having multiple splinters everywhere.

Pros
  • 11.0dB / 11.0dB / 11.0dB / 11.0dB / 11.0dB / 11.0dB / 11.0dB / 11.0dB
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I use an external powered OTA omnidirectional antenna to pick up stations 40-50 miles away. Before I found this I used an active splitter as well as another regular splitter to make it easy to connect 5 TVs. I had a lot of pixelation before trying this. This saved a lot of cables and connectors and very few pixels. Unless you're in a tree-lined valley like we were, you probably won't have a problem seeing stations at the above distance. I couldn't say more.

Pros
  • Horizontal flexible mount
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Doesn't work for A/V accessories

I was trying to set this up to distribute a cable signal to multiple TVs in my house. Cable box (Cisco box from Spectrum) hangs during initialization. I called Spectrum support and had a tech come in when I decided to remove the splitter from the connection and just plug the box directly into the cable. Voila! It worked. I have somewhat long drives to and from the splitter, not sure if that matters or if the unit was faulty or just attenuated the signal too much for the box regardless of the…

Pros
  • 5-1002MHz/EMI -130dB
Cons
