Sturdy with easy attachment points

It takes some time and patience to get it right, but it's worth it. Very hard work and I hope she will put my expensive bike in trouble. Follow the instructions to properly secure the wheel and you will feel much more comfortable carrying your bike. I have seen and used other pads but this one works and works well. It's a bit wide, but after getting the pivot in the correct position, I coated the treated wood in the liner with epoxy to fill the gap so there's less play. A little rasp work…

Incomplete in Tools & Equipment

First, my car is an Indian Roadmaster with a low front fender with a full skirt. As it stands I can't use the rear carry bag unless I want to break the fender. Not an indicator as my goal for this pad is to keep the front wheel straight while tied to the trailer. Overall it makes a solid impression. So why a star? I didn't get what I paid for. The box turned out to come with no instructions (no big deal) and no nuts and bolts (big hassle). My next stop will be at the hardware store to buy what…

However, it turned out to be very easy. I hope I get more benefit.

I bought this item because I wanted more security when transporting and securing my newly purchased motorcycle in a rental truck. Assembly was easy but note that you will need a socket wrench or wrench to fasten the screws as they do not include any tools. Once buckled up with multiple ratchet straps, it didn't give way and held the front wheel securely. for the whole hour and a half drive home. There was a bit of an issue getting the wheel onto the locking mechanism as we had to rock the bike…

DURABLE, DETACHABLE!

Powerful and detachable! SECURE POSITIONING ON THE MOUNTING SURFACE; This makes it one of the few locking blocks that can be used with removable fasteners. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003OK4ZM2/ The extra width of the front crossbar and the thick construction of this pad make it the best option: These non-locking, tubular, removable pads don't provide enough confidence and security when towing a motorcycle. The only other option available is the universal ratchet key which you will see on…

Sturdy, well designed and works great.

I bought a Harbor Freight wheel chock but when I was ready to install it in my new trailer I was concerned about the lightweight design. So I returned it and ended up buying an Extreme Max 5001.5010. What a huge difference! This thing is sturdy and well designed. I installed the pan for my Harley Road King in the second hole in the back and it fits perfectly. I was worried it would hit the fender skirt which other reviewers had trouble with, but it cleaned it up great and really keeps the bike…

Pros
  • Excellent fit for me
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

good quality product

After reading many good and bad reviews I decided to give it a try. Being able to fabricate I thought I could get it working for the price if there were any problems. Despite this, I received the item within 3 days, which was much faster than expected. The product is very high quality, it took a few minutes to assemble. I have a 900 pound Harley that I have had to tow in snow and ice. I borrowed an enclosed utility trailer from a neighbor but it only had 4 small D-ring attachment points. I took
