Read this before you buy!

So, first of all, they do not line up straight, as in the photo and video. He is expected to be fully cross-eyed. The same goes for your 90Β° spout. You can not only buy a straight spout here. Oh, and they ship them open! After the first filling, 4 liters of oil were drained. It's also right next to my exhaust, so unless that rubber isn't something special, it's going to melt. And I doubt the valve will hold. Good idea bad execution. Don't buy this! Nothing but trouble. I wish I could get a…

Already driven 6000 km. .

Already covered 6000 miles. No complaints. I suspect my next oil change will be a lot cleaner than my last one now that it's being installed. Not a drop of oil is lost. I constantly drive through the fields, look after the cattle and feed the horses. I've never had a single valve issue and it definitely makes for a cleaner drain with every oil change.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

  • I will be silent

Manufacturing defect

This is the second EZ drain oil valve that I have purchased. The first was great. I used it on my Honda Civic and it worked flawlessly. I bought this second one for my wife's Ford Escape, however it appears to have some critical manufacturing defects. The flat inner surface of the valve next to the rubber O-ring has a chip in one place and a small protrusion in another; Therefore, the valve will not fit snugly into the car oil pan when screwed in, resulting in oil leakage. I am very…

On the fly oil change

I'm telling you, even before the next oil change I've noticed that this item, which is supposed to fit my 1978 Honda Hawk CB 400T II, doesn't actually fit sump well. As you can see in the picture I provided. I think it's an easy fix, but it's a problem, I think I need to nap the oil pan to get the oil drain valve to seat properly. Until then I'll have to keep an eye on it because it drips quite a bit, I'm not saying don't buy them, they're great, it's just maybe the company should really…

Clean and easy to replace parts

This is the second one I have bought. I had one on my previous truck and it was really nice to be able to control which way the oil was draining. While the water won't drain as quickly as if you pulled the drain plug out, it's a lot cleaner and more comfortable. The double locking mechanism provides hassle-free security and is easy to operate when deflating. I will continue to use them on all my vehicles in the future. Note. Having worked in a lube shop when I was young I would recommend this…
