Dyson replacement - straight fit, easy install, quality part. Very important. Didn't realize how much vacuum it took to replace the brush roll until a new one came - amazing cleaning improvement! Low-pile rugs show directional vacuum stripes again :)

New roller is easy to install and new brushes are carpet friendly. We forgot the value of the new brushes and how they improved our D41's performance. It seemed to work just as well as the original reel but at an affordable price. I would buy them again and wouldn't wait that long to replace worn out rollers/brushes.

Works great and solved the problem. Easy to install, durable and inexpensive. I have two different Dysons and had to fix something on each one. It was great knowing that I can find and fix both of these quickly and easily at a low cost. Although I'm a handy person, I think anyone can easily find the right spare part and fix something on their Dyson themselves. Take the time you need.

I have a Dyson Animal Ball Vacuum DC 41 and the tips didn't fit. I removed the tips from both my old and new brush rollers and put the old tips on the new roller. The problem was that the plastic pieces that popped out to fit the vacuum's screws weren't long enough. Now it fits and works great and does its job much better. I would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to change the end caps.

Two curved clips and four small Phillips screws make replacement easy. This setup is pretty hard to screw up. New brushes work great! If your vacuum cleaner is similar to mine. EUUUUU! Grab some water and some rags to clean everything before installing the new brush. I found that a coat hanger is also good for removing some stubborn bits. (okay I changed my brush a few times) Wow I always wondered where the other two dogs went!

Our 7 year old DC 41 pet vacuum kept up with our own three or more adoptive dogs. Eventually, the bearing in the brushroll end cap failed. I initially tried just swapping out the bearing, but soon found that it's best to use a complete roller set. There were several options, but this one was perfect. The new parts fit exactly like the original parts, and even included a small brush to clean up the "junk" that has built up in the cases. We are completely satisfied.

Pros: right length for my DC40 vacuum bulb, same size as my original brush. Cons: Screws not included. The brushes are the wrong size. Too short. So I unscrewed the old brush plate and used that instead. But since the common brush and screw are already old, I have to break the old plate to unscrew the old brush. And I don't have exactly the same size screws, so unfortunately I have to use whatever I have at home until I can find them in the store. And the other side plate is new from this…
