The cable is not suitable for Yaesu

cable connector does not fit Yaesu vx-7r exactly? I will send the cable back as soon as possible. The Yaesu connector has a threaded end. look carefully before you buy it.

This cable cannot be connected to the radio because the plug is too thick. Find someone who knows which cable is right for you and buy from them.

Ideal for programming an old Yaesu FT-50R HT with chirp.

The driver is automatically installed for a Windows 10 (or 11?) PC, proving that this programming cable actually has an official Prolific chip as stated in the description and not a fake. Please note that after the first cable connection I had to reboot my computer to load the changes from the Chirp program into HT. Before rebooting, I got an error about Ack-Block 1 when trying to upload it to the radio. A single restart of the PC after the automatic installation of the Windows driver solved…

Pros
  • USB cable
Cons
  • Frequency
