Overall very good product but installation was terrible I wish there were instructions included as my old armrest cover was destroyed the plastic crumbled when removing then we found a steel plate that fell out, didn't know how to put it back together.

Took me a while to install it, had to remove the screws from it and disassemble the console to install it properly. That's because of the new design. The color is definitely a different shade (lighter) than the gray in the car now. But it seems more durable than the OEM version.

The only difficulty with replacing the original part was that I had to remove the gray cover from the plastic interior on both the original and the replacement stopper in order to attach it to the loop. Also, the original used hex head screws while the replacement used Phillips head screws. Since both the old and new were disassembled, I only used heavier hex head bolts when attaching to the hinge. It doesn't have a leather cover like the original, but it's close enough and looks a lot better…

Pretty easy to install! You will need an Allen key, a Phillips screwdriver and a drill to remove the old plastic edge. The new one has no rivets and no space to install them. These are all screws and you will need 7mm to reinstall the 3 screws that attach them to the console hinge. They are stuck and you must push back on the plastic piece to remove and replace these screws. I do not recommend a drill for this part, you will need to pry a bit on the plastic part to remove and replace. It has…
