FAA Compliant Airplane Extender VELOUR Review

I have a larger frame than many women and although my hips fit perfectly in a standard airplane seat, the seat belt is usually not long enough to fit comfortably across my stomach. I bought this seat belt extender after a flight when the flight crew couldn't find an extender for me, making the flight very uncomfortable. I have used this on Alaska Air and Virgin America and it has worked great. United's belts are longer and I don't usually need an extender on their planes. I would recommend this

I was very doubtful if it could be used or would stick out like a sore thumb. I was glad that the belt was marked with the brand and its information (FAA approved). I was also concerned that it wasn't the same color as the seat belt on the plane but was dark enough not to be noticeable. Happy with purchase. I flew with Canda Air last year and the seat belt was very tight. I was thinking of just wearing it for the whole trip but I couldn't breathe and it was a 6 hour flight.
